The SaluSpa Realtree is a round hot tub, measuring 71 inches across and 26 inches deep. It’s often sold as a 4 person spa, but that’s how many adults can sit in the tub, close together. The camouflage design is not everyone’s taste, to be honest. But if you want an inflatable hot tub that looks like no other, and – we have to admit – really goes well on a deck or set against trees and bushes, then this is for you.

If you do want to put your inflatable hot tub on a deck – or even inside – then make sure the deck or floor will hold the weight of the hot tub. The SaluSpa Realtree holds 192 gallons of water, which means when it is filled to the maximum mark, it weighs almost 1,700 lbs. That’s equivalent to a Plains Buffalo!

So you need to check that the flooring or deck can support that kind of weight.  Also, you need to factor in the weight of the people in the hot tub as well, which can put the total weight over 2,000 lbs.

As well as the hot tub itself, the SaluSpa Realtree comes with a dark brown inflatable cover. This is important to keep the water clean from any debris, such as leaves and twigs, when you’re not using the tub. It also insulates the hot tub when it’s on, keeping the water nice and hot. The cover has lockable straps as well, so you can be sure that children can’t get into the hot tub unsupervised.

The hot tub also has a cushioned floor, something that not all Budget models have. This gives it a high level of comfort, and it adds to the insulation. If you want to use your inflatable hot tub throughout the winter – say in your garage or a garden room – then we recommend that you buy some cheap foam mats. How To Set Up Your SaluSpa Realtree Inflatable Hot Tub

The SaluSpa Realtree is a plug-and-play inflatable hot tub. This means you take it out of the box, lay it out, attach the inflator hose to the control panel and inflate it. It takes about 15 minutes to lay out and inflate, and then another 30 to 60 minutes to fill with water, using a garden hose.

A good feature of this portable spa is that it has two grab handles on the side. This means you can choose a slightly smaller space to house it if you wish, as you can inflate it in a larger area and then pick it up and slide it into place. It only weighs 35 lbs when fully inflated. So with 2 people, moving it around shouldn’t be a problem.

Once the hot tub is full of water, attach the digital control panel and press the heat control button.  It will take up to 24 hours to heat to the maximum temperature of 104F. This is the standard all for hot tubs. You can add hot water from your faucet if you want, to speed up the heating time.

When you are heating up the water, don’t forget to put the inflated cover on the hot tub, to keep in the heat.

With the water nice and hot, take off the cover and slip down into the soothing waters. Because of its sturdy construction, the walls are easily strong enough to support anyone who is a little unsteady on their feet. They are also strong enough for adults to sit on the sides without them buckling or giving way.

When you are in the water, you can turn on the massage system on the digital control panel. This is right outside the hot tub, so you don’t need to get out to adjust any of the controls. Be aware that when you use the massage system, the water does cool a little.

However, unlike some low quality hot tubs, you can run the massage system and the water heater at the same time with the SaluSpa Realtree. Many hot tub owners have found this is an important feature when deciding which hot tub they should buy.
